Special Educational Needs
The Assistant Headteacher, Miss Baker, is our SENCO.
Inclusion at Bignold aims to provide a whole-school approach to supporting children with SEND and ensuring access to a broad and balanced curriculum for all pupils.
A SEND support plan is written for children with SEND which outlines their needs, approaches and additional resources needed. This is written by class teachers, in conjunction with the SENCo, pupils and their families.
If you are concerned about the progress your child is making or you think they may have additional needs, you should speak to your child's class teacher in the first instance.
